Yoga therapy can help with infant neurological development! If you have a child who is not learning to crawl, stand, walk, or eat at a healthy rate, ask your local yoga therapist for help.
Note the internal rotation of the thigh bones, the raising of the head and the cervical extension. At a more subtle level, the overall froggy patterning that underlies this baby’s posture.
A word about propping. Do not just stand your baby up in a position he or she cannot achieve alone. While I am shown here pulling his hips up and back, his muscle tone was sufficient to get him there without my guidance.
